My husband has a Leatherman Wave and finds it really useful. It is great around the house for little odd jobs. I am a bit worried about having it around now that we have children but it is pretty safe. We lost it for a while and when we had a big sort out in the office, I found it under the desk. He was really please as he had been looking to buy a Edge Pro Apex or even one of the Kershaw knives to replace it with because he missed it so much. He never got round to it though as we have been so busy with other things and I tried to put him off because I was worried about having knives in the house with the children. Thankfully he had not bought anything else so there is only the one knife in the house to worry about. I know exactly where it is now as well so I can make sure that the children do not get anywhere near it. He has been using it again which is good - I think he actually finds the other attachments, rather than the knife blade itself the most useful. I do not mind - as long as he is getting good use out of it.
